Birth Certificates
Certified
copies of Birth Certificates are available for persons born in the state of
Washington dating back to January 1, 1907.
Births prior to January 1, 1907 must be
requested from the Department of Vital Records in Olympia. www.doh.wa.gov/ehsphl/chs/cert.htm

The
following Death Certificates can be purchased at the Benton-Franklin Health
District:
·
City of Richland deaths after July 1st,
1959.
·
All the remainder of Benton County and
Franklin County after January 1st, 1980.
Deaths occurring prior to these dates must

available for an additional fee of $10, otherwise the certificate will be
available for pick up the following business day after 10:00 am unless return
mail is requested.

clients unless otherwise instructed.
Faxed
requests: Processed within 3
business days (excludes delivery time). Certificates will be mailed back to
clients unless otherwise instructed.

per certified copy.
Payment Options:
Acceptable
forms of payment are: Cash, money order, cashier’s check, or credit card.
Checks not accepted.
Optional Expedited Service to all US states except Alaska and
Hawaii:

Same Day Service Fee: To
have your request processed while you wait, or for pick up later the same day.
This fee will be charged one time per person, per request. No additional
charge for additional copies of the same certificate.

Priority Overnight:
Next-business-day delivery by 10:30 am to most U.S. addresses; by 5:00 pm in
remote areas. Delivery days are Monday-Friday. Application must be received by
2:00pm in order to receive this service.
$ 20.00 Express Saver - 3 day: Delivery to businesses by 4:30 pm and to
residences by 7:00 pm in 3 business days. Delivery days are Monday - Friday. .
Application must be received by 2:00pm in order to receive this service.
Terms and Conditions
FedEx
does not offer a restricted delivery service and may deliver to someone other
than the person named as the recipient. Packages cannot be delivered to P.O.
boxes or P.O. box zip codes. Package address must include the complete street
address and zip code of the recipient.
Shipments
to hotels, hospitals, government offices, or installations, university
campuses, or other facilities that utilize a mailroom or other central
receiving area will be delivered to the central receiving area, unless
otherwise authorized and approved by FedEx.
Delivery
charges will not be refunded for undeliverable shipments. A undeliverable
shipment is one that cannot be delivered for reasons that include, but are not
limited to the following:

Recipient refuses to accept the shipment.
·
The recipient's delivery address cannot be
located.
·
The recipient's place of business is
closed.
·
No appropriate person was available to
accept the shipment at a delivery location on the initial delivery attempt or
reattempts.
