Many of us have an "out of sight, out of mind" attitude toward our
sewer and septic systems - until something goes wrong!
Wastewater Treatment - This presentation deals with our sewer systems and how large quantities of wastewater are treated and cleaned up. This presentation i s geared for 2nd grade and up. Depending on time available, a tour of a wastewater facility can be arranged. (Not for weak stomachs!) Class time depends on age of audience and if a tour is involved. Septic Systems - If you own and use a septic system, this presentation is for you! Learn the history of septic systems, how they work, how they don't, and how to properly care for a septic system to keep is working and prevent costly failures.
