Welcome to the Food Safety Program Homepage

We work with local food businesses, state and federal government regulators, and our community to reduce the rate of foodborne illness in our region.

We also provide education to reduce the risk of illness and injury from poisons, animal-borne diseases, and other unsafe conditions in our environment.

In our program, we aim to:

  • prevent illness in our residents and visitors
  • promote healthy lifestyles
  • protect our environment to protect our health
