month.
As
a SQG, you are required to:
- Designate
all of your wastes
- Keep
track of your wastes by identifying all hazardous wastes generated per
month and the total amount stored on-site each month
- Limit
on-site storage to less than or equal to 2,200 lbs of hazardous waste
on-site at an time
- Properly
dispose of hazardous waste to a facility that is permitted to accept and
treat the waste on site, so that it does not pose any risk to human health
or the environment.
You
are a Medium Quantity Generator (MQG) if you generate:

track of your wastes by identifying all hazardous wastes generated per
month and the total amount stored on-site each month.
- Limit
on-site storage to 2,200 lbs of hazardous waste on-site at any time. If
storage is more than 2,200 lbs, a hazardous waste storage facility permit
will be required.
- Waste
must be shipped off-site within 180 days of production. If the facility is
more than 200 miles from a licensed storage/treatment facility that time
line is extended to 270 days.
You
are a Large Quantity Generator (LQG) if you generate:
- More
than 2,200 lbs (5 drums) of hazardous waste per calendar month
- More
than 2.2 pounds of acutely hazardous wastes per calendar month
As

- Ship
all accumulated waste off-site within 90 days of production. If the 90 day
