Benton and Franklin County COVID-19 Testing Sites

General Testing Information

One of the best ways to decrease the spread of COVID-19 is to get tested. Getting tested does NOT increase the amount of disease in our community. Adequate testing allows for early identification of cases, quick isolation and decreases transmission rates.

Testing does not "create" disease - it "contains" disease.

Anyone who has COVID symptoms, has been exposed to COVID, or is concerned about their COVID status, should get tested.

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus and can be mild to severe illness. People with these symptoms or combinations of symptoms may have COVID-19:
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

Under state and federal law, all COVID-19 testing should be free for anyone. Under Washington law, insurance companies cannot charge co-pays for COVID-19 testing. Fees may incur for in-clinic provider visits.
