Benton-Franklin Health District investigates over 60 communicable diseases and conditions that are reportable to the local health jurisdiction in accordance with WAC 246-101. In certain situations, clusters of illness (i.e., norovirus and influenza) are also reportable, especially in healthcare facilities, schools and child cares. The Washington State Department of Health
(DOH) tuberculosis (TB) provider toolkit offers resources health care providers can use to consult, screen, test, and treat clients when providing TB care.
The online TST/IGRA Interpreter assists
health care providers to estimate the risk of active tuberculosis for
individuals with a tuberculin skin test
reaction greater than or equal to 5mm using client clinical profile
information.
