The School Environmental Health & Safety Program will complete routine inspections in all public, private, and parochial facilities used for the purpose of K-12 school instruction in Benton and Franklin counties.
Our team of Environmental Health Specialists will conduct on-site reviews and inspections of school facilities to verify compliance with the state health and safety regulations described in the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Chapter 246-366.
The goal of these inspections is to promote a safe and healthy learning environment and reduce the risks associated with inadequate ventilation, improper chemical storage, poor indoor air quality, and other environmental hazards.
