Welcome to the Benton-Franklin Health Districts On-Site Sewage Program. The purpose of this program is to ensure proper treatment and disposal of waste water to protect our drinking water and the surrounding environment.

The Benton-Franklin Health District is responsible for permitting, overseeing the design and installation and inspecting of on-site septic systems with wastewater flows less than 3,500 gallons per day. There are many variables in designing septic systems and we are here to guide you through the process every step of the way.
